Beyond Must See

Hello! We are Pooja & Akshay, originally from India, now living the Silicon Valley dream in California. As we navigate our lives in this place bustling with technology, we constantly find ourselves seeking intimate experiences with nature and wondering what life everywhere else on this planet is about. While we haven’t chosen one way or another (yet), this space is our attempt at not living life vicariously. 

We are outdoor enthusiasts documenting our travel and experiences through photography and this space. As much as we love finding ourselves outdoors, the process of planning and working out logistics sets the adrenaline soaring to make those travels happen.    

Together we probably have more trips planned than that have materialized. Planning trips is a hobby and the goal is never to simply check places out of a list but to experience them in a way that cultivates attachment. On one day we could spend hours hiking/backpacking and watching light bring life to a landscape while another day could be all about exploring local breweries, cafes, food, must-see and beyond.

At the end of a trip we come home with numerous stories, high resolution raw images that sit framed on walls and priceless memories to cherish until the next one.
